The Oscar-winning actor Benicio Del Toro ( "Traffic") stars as Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman lured back to his property after his brother vanishes. Join his father away (Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins, The Silence of the Lambs "), Talbot sets out to find his brother and discovers a horrible fate for himself.

Lawrence Talbot's childhood ended the day her mother died. After leaving the Victorian village dream of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brother's fiance (Emily Blunt) follows him to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and an inspector from Scotland Yard called suspicious Aberline (Hugo Weaving) has come to investigate.

At the bloody puzzle pieces, he learns of an ancient curse that turns the afflicted into werewolves when the moon is full. Now, if you have any chance of ending the slaughter and protecting the woman who has learned to love, Talbot must destroy the vicious creature in the woods surrounding Blackmoor. But as the hunt for the beast of nightmare, a simple man with a tortured past will discover a key aspect itself. He never imagined existed.
